Employee Portal

Business Need

The LDI wanted to replace the existing intranet site with a portal that utilized the latest technology to provide their staff with a wide range of information, tools, and services. Through a faster and better organized site, users would be able to locate and view information more rapidly and in turn be more productive in their respective roles. Utilizing current technology would also reduce required system maintenance.

Our Approach

We worked closely with LDI to determine what their vision of the Employee portal would be: the touchstone for all LDI staff to access LDI systems and services. Based on LDI’s vision, we designed and developed the Employee Portal to be fast, flexible, scalable, extensible, and easy to maintain.

Key Features

Integration with LDI’s user security management enabling single sign-on, responsive interface design, and excellent extensibility for new applications to be added in the future.
