Company and Producer Licensing Workflows
Business Need
The LDI needed to re-engineer two existing complex workflows that had previously been developed unsuccessfully in SharePoint, and incorporate them into the LDI Employee Portal.
Our Approach
We worked extensively with LDI Licensing staff to fully document and update the existing licensing processes. A comprehensive project plan and schedule was developed and agile development processes were employed to create completely new and enhanced workflows based on Windows Workflow Foundation. Requested user functionality was added including, robust notifications, updated user interface, full auditing, performance data collection, shared attachments, simplified user responses, and integration with the LDI Employee Portal.

Greatly enhanced workflow functionality with parallel route functionality, comprehensive work item rerouting, start and stop timers for each workflow step, workflow extensibility for new features, full workflow auditing, integration with the LDI user management system for single sign-on and workflow permissions, and integration with the LDI line of business system RMS.
